Product Description
I. Effect:
Remove waxes and fats to make the oil product have a bright and shiny appearance.
II. Process Flow:
Crystallization, crystal maturation, wax filtering, cold water circulation, and other steps are employed to achieve the desired result.
III. Cold Bag Filtration Method:
The cold bag filtration method is a common process used to remove wax from oil and fats. The general process flow is as follows:
- Raw Material Preparation:
Firstly, prepare oil or fat containing wax as the raw material. This oil or fat can be of animal or plant origin, mineral oil, or any other type containing wax.
- Heating:
Heat the raw material oil or fat to a certain temperature, usually close to or above the melting point of the wax. The purpose of heating is to melt the wax and mix it uniformly with the oil or fat.
- Cooling:
Continue adding a certain amount of condensing agent or cooling agent to the heated oil or fat, rapidly cooling it down. The cooling rate is crucial as it affects the morphology and size of the wax.
- Filtration:
During the cooling process, the wax will solidify into small particles, forming wax crystals. These wax crystals are filtered out using a specially designed cooling bag, typically composed of fine holes or mesh. The wax crystals are retained in the cooling bag, while the liquid oil or fat passes through the filter.
- Separation:
Separate the wax crystals from the liquid oil or fat in the cooling bag. The wax crystals can be collected and utilized as wax products, while the oil or fat that has undergone the cold bag filtration method has had a portion of its wax content removed and can be used for subsequent production or processing.
